Job type: Contract Ad-hoc

The QA/QC Advisor will work within the QA/QC Team based in North East of Scotland and provide quality assurance and quality control support to our Operations.


The Role:

Key accountabilities shall include but not be limited to:

  • Carry out quality activities as per customer requirements
  • Liaise with customers
  • Equipment qualification, and equipment damage assessment
  • Non-conformance reporting
  • Reporting for customers or projects as required
  • Managing client inspection activities
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to travel at other locations as required

Essential skills / Qualifications:

  • Technical knowledge of drilling and completion equipment, specifications and procedures
  • Familiar with key Quality standards and regulations (ISO, API)
  • 10 or more years of relevant experience in the Oil and Gas Industry
  • Good communication & IT skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to function as part of a team and interface with other departments
  • Willingness to learn and address new standards
  • Flexible approach to working hours
